Sample Interior Pages
The level 2 books contain reading selections that start at a 4th grade reading level. Selections include historical narratives, primary source documents, time period poetry, and cultural tales.
Students read or listen to their instructor read the selection. Immediately following, students orally narrate back to their instructor what they have just read. When students are able they write written summations or written narrations.
Additional models are included in the Appendix. These models may be used for studied dictation.
The Cursive Books
The books that have a manuscript volume and a cursive volume have the same exact content except that the copywork models are in a cursive font.
The style of the cursive font can be seen on the cover of each book. The covers are located on the product pages before check out.
To give you an idea of the cursive font, you can see the cursive copywork model below. This is a page from the Write from Modern History Level 2 books with cursive models.
